February is a spectacular time of year in Lliber where you can experience the amazing almond blossom season. The mountains change colour from the harsh brown and dark greens of winter to a soft blanket of pinks and whites. The excitement begins as the first signs of spring are arriving.

The first of the blossom has already started to arrive in Lliber this year, with the odd lonely tree producing an early display, but it is the first two or three weeks of February when it is simply stunning against the backdrop of the mountains. There are numerous walks on our doorstep to really experience the splendour of the almond trees in full bloom or we can arrange guided and group walks.

Plan your weekend with Saturday morning heading out to Jalon's famous 'Rastro' Flea market and join the local tradition of strolling through the market looking for treasures, followed by an afternoon walk taking photos of the scenic valley in all its glory. Sunday morning enjoy a cerveza and tapas at one of the local bars or head to the bodega for some free wine tasting.
